WHAT BRUCE SAID IF U HAVE THE $$ ANOTHER THING IS U MAY HAVE PROBELMS BECAUSE THE CARB ISENT RIGHT U SAID YOU REBUILT IT AND IF ITS NOT 100% THEN ITS NOT 100% .... WHERE ARE U LOCATED ?
I LOVED MY 4412 ON MY 220/470 IT RAN GREAT BUT THE CARB WAS TUNED RIGHT AND BUILT RIGHT !

In labelle swfl this is the same boat that midnight rider is speaking of with jet sizes. Yea it may not be right but before i buy a new one i wanna make sure which one to use

500 cfm, we've run the 450 4 bbl as well it gives a bit more cruise mileage and has the secondaries to get out of trouble, but they require the rear metering plate kit to jet it accordingly.

John what size jets do you recommend. Also I called Holley today and they said 350 Cfm was better for 470 cu in with rpm redline of 3000. Said the 4412 500 Cfm was intended for a motor turning up to 5000. I see everyone is saying bigger jets. I m thinking that's cause of too many cfms the 500 gives. Also what do you suggest for the timing when it has dual impulse.

I run 73 jets, blocked power valve and 24° on my 220/470 conversion with the 8.6:1 pistons and have good response and mileage.
