Second Mag For GPU

Can anyone give me a ballpark price on the second mag to put on a GPU. Do I have to get one of those high dollar mags for and aircraft engine?

around ruffly 300 dollars for a rebuilt mag outlaw engines and other people on here have rebuilt ones for sale gpu rick might have them also

the gear set one of the people i mentioned or jc stanely bunch people should have the kit

I sell the Mag's and gear's along with a kit you can attach the gear to your magneto so you dont have to attach a post to your case save's you alot of work and money. PM me for pricing .

I just had both my mags rebuild and it cost me 475 dollars and the guy put all new plugs in it.

IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE SECOND PLUG HOLE IN THE CYCLENDERS YOU WILL HAVE TO HAVE THEM MACHINED FOR THE SECOND SPARK PLUG HOLE.PLUS LIKE SAID ABOVE YOU NEED THE MAG AND GEAR PLUS YOU WILL NEED THE ACC. HOUSING DRILLED TO FOR THE TWO BOLTS TO HOLD THE PIN THAT THE GEAR SPINS ON.I WOULD BRING IT TO SOMEONE THAT HAS EXSPERINCE WITH PUTTING A SECOND MAG ON THE GPU MOTORS.IF YOU DON'T HAVE IT RIGHT YOU WILL SCREW EVERYTHING UP. JMO

Just had our GPU top-end done, and left it single magged.
Did'nt want to split the cases, in order to dual mag it the right way.
Better not done at all, if it's not done right.

You don't need to install the post on the case of your engine. I can sell you kit to attach the gear to your magneto. Save's you time and money.

I HAD A PE 90 WITH THE GEAR ATTACHED TO MAG FOR OVER 25 YEARS, NEVER HAD A PROBLEM

yep that works perfect, should get 100 or two rpms with a second mag witch is a real good thang 8)

Better off getting a new aftermarket built unit, Schmidt airboats usually has them in stock.

I have them 2 each in stock serviceable unit's they are the Harrison cooler that are on the gpu packette. They are tested and ready to go.
