who does rigging near Lake Placid

Post by sperry3 » Mon Feb 10, 2014 9:12 pm

I need some input on people within a couple of hours of Lake Placid who do good work on building a new rigging and cage for my 13'5'' lazer with a 220 gpu. I do not want anything fancy and was thinking about doing conduit to make it as light as possible. I was told that my old rigging was built too far forward and it caused the front end to push down, which made it harder for me to run dry. I've heard that Paul Jackson (woods and water) does good work for light rigging and I will contact him soon. If anyone knows of others who do good work and where they are located, or has had work done by woods and water, please let me know.

Thanks
Stan

Check with Chris at Dakota Airboats in Melbourne he's done a few for us and we've been happy.

Hey Stan its Blake Hurm. You need to get in touch with Wayne Boatwright, Brenna Martin's stepdad. He did all the work on my boat and my buddies boat and he just finished building a whole boat in like 6 weeks or something like that lol. His number is 991-0024. He'll be much cheaper and I promise he does good work.

Ya I forgot about Wayne. I'm taking my boat to Calvin Turner in highlands park tomorrow morning to see how much it will cost me to get him to do it. I'll give Wayne a call after that and see if I can meet up with him also. I've heard both of them do good work. Thanks Blake.
