Anybody using this? Pros and Cons? Its a hub extension that warp drive sells. I need one to set my prop back a couple of inches because its too close to the front of my cage

I have one on my 540 but mine bolts to the crank were the gear box use to. I cant say I use one if I did not require one.

If they're machined from a chunck of billet, they must be one strong dude.

not only just to clear your cage but moving the prop back more also gives more push. it confuses alot of people cause if you check it close then move it back not changing the pitch you lose rpm but gain thrust because the blades get more undisturbed air to it

Yep, I've seen that with a 4" on a DD caddy. Proves that clean air is the name of the game. After seeing that, it made me start wondering about some of the cages I've seen Restricting airflow in any way makes a difference. At least in a typical 'I need more power' type of setting, which obviously doesn't always apply equally in all cases.
