The C1 produces 115 according to what I have read. The bottom is 1/4" plywood. The majority of it is. My 2 main stringers are 1". I will be glassing over it all. No poly. I will be using Quick Slick.watchyourstep wrote:Nice whats that about 100hp? How thick of wood for the bottom and are you putting glass only or polly also?

I surely will. It will be another 2 weeks before I can get back to it. Stay tuned......Jerry T wrote:Man that's a nice Job!!! keep the pic's comeing
Believe me I am no expert. That is the culmination of months of research. Proper tools are essential. I wouldn't attempt that with a handsaw. If I can do it, anyone of you can. I do appreciate the compliment, but that is doing a bit far. This is my first attempt at building a boat out of wood. I didn't know what I was getting into, but I'm sure as hell glad I did. So far anyway.THE NIGHT RIDER wrote:yep def cool job ,it takes an expert wood worker to do what youve done ,we all like it and if we could do it it sure wood save us some money ,just build a new hull every few years would be awesome ,out of woodcool deal
Thanks CC! I still have a ways to go. Gonna start glassing all the seams next weekend. I'm ready to get the hull done so I can start building my rigging. I finally got my engine via FEDEX. I still have to put it together. That will come later.cuban cracker wrote:Looking great can't hardly wait to see it done.
Hopefully no more than 300.Dan Coffey wrote:Awesome looking. What will the hull weigh?
