best 383 builder in central fl

Can anyone shed some light on a good place to get a 383 stroker built for a boat build. wanting 450hp plus with aluminum heads. would like to stay somewhat local and i live in melbourne. before everyone says call water thunder let it be known i would love to have one of his power plants but not gonna be in the budget for this build. thanks.

Glen Treadwell in Lake County is who I use depending on the heads he uses we get 480 to 510hp. Never had a problem with any of the engines he has built me. But there are a lot of good builders around. Tri star builds a good 383 also and have a 2 yr warranty 3-4 weeks turn around time.

i used the search option and found this thread. took our motor down to Glen at muscle machine had him build it. went and picked it up today and couldnt be happier. Glen has a dyno in his shop and tune the motor before we left. he rejetted the carb and fired that baby up. ended up with 479HP and 485FP tork @ 5000 rpm's. defiantly glad i found this thread. he's a top notch guy and ill be back on the water tomorrow.

Glad it worked out for you he does a great job on all the engines I have had him build big block or small block. He builds a nasty 396 small block too
