Brodix 582 BBC EFI motor
This will be a interesting combination and should make a nice little ride boat motor she will not make big HP numbers on the dyno but I think somethings in this combination will have some people scratching their heads. If it runs like I think it maybe a game changer but then again we could have missed the combination by a mile and there is only 1 way to find out. Its a Brodix block and Brodix headed 582 cui EFI BBC. She has a 58X reluctor and coil on plug ignition.

A "nice little ride boat motor" Dave? Really?

That's one of the sexiest chunks of metal I've seen in a long time! Can't wait to hear it run!

Dave, you come up with a big HP FI BBC that weighs the same as an LS, I might have to kick down your door to get you to talk to me.

Dave,
I love my brodix heads even for commercial use? There like bullet proof but not idiot proof! Brodix does build some nice stuff if applied correctly!

Re: Brodix 582 BBC EFI motor
The main thing I have always loved about Brodix is their guy's always get their valve train stuff RIGHT and dead on. Most all old aftermarket heads screw up the geometry or the rockers arm location or everything. Brodix has always got their geometry right and had Jesel or whoever make their stuff where it works. Back in the day everybody else's stuff sucked to get right. Brodix Never has an issue with crappy guides or seats either. This is one of many reasons why I became a dealer for their stuff other heads you will be answering a 100 tech questions for the end buyer because it's easier to put a man on mars than to get other peoples valve train correct. I don't want to say who but dam I got a ton of time making their LS head stuff work and I helped them solve a shit load of problems with brand X heads. Shot just this month I found a casting porosity problem on a set of 6K heads, that stuff never happens with Brodix parts. Don't even get me started on the Pro Popp stuff either.

I'd almost say Brodix is a true florida native vendor and if they enter the airboat world, dart and gm would have serious competition!
