I was wondering the same thing. A lot of marsh towards the east holding gators but no access with bass boat. Water is real high so watch out for docks.

The west lake is lake county and the east lake is orange county.

Re: Johns lake gator airboats?
my bud said there was an air boat restriction there
Re: Johns lake gator airboats?
As far as I know there are no airboat restrictions on Johns Lake. I hunted that lake 2 years ago. We had Lake county tags so we put in at Lake Blvd right on the edge of Lake County. The rules that I read said as long as I launch in Lake County and the lake is in Lake County (even if it goes into another county), you can hunt the whole lake. That marsh on the east side does have some nice gators but the seem to hang out outside of the marsh. Good Luck
