New SA Server...

Our web hosting people will be "migrating" SA to a new server sometime around 3:00AM (EST) in the morning (2/5/14).

We've been working & testing on this thing for the last few days and hopefully got it setup so downtime is minimal. There will still probably be a short time where access to the old server & new server overlap due to propagation. That means it may be that someone's post to the old server may not make it to the new server...can't blame the moderator for that lost post

Hopefully it'll all go smooth, but if things do go to hell for some reason, we'll be working to get SA back as fast as possible.

Well thanks for the compliments and I'd like to return'em. One thing SA has never had to worry about is resources to keep it running well. If things ain't right (from a technical aspect ), got no one to blame but myself so thanks for that.

As always Rick goes above and beyond. And those who go to other forums across the net know how well SA runs. Thanks Rick for the tireless thankless work man. I'll be watching from here as the change over goes down.

My internet gps unit blew a fuse, so I am not certain where on the interwebs I am at!

I think I parked my truck and trailer at the old landing....... on the old server!
What do I do now?

This is the new server. Hope I get the same results cowboy when I log in with a faster internet connection. Internet access ain't the best out here.

With the exception of the airboat directory no working, it seems to have went real smooth so far. I'll get the airboat directory fixed up a little later.
