im wanting to replace my hull with a new fiberglass hull. i ride Rodman, plenty of stumps, tight trails, big trees and some deep water in places. i have a sv-540 and want a boat that will turn on the tight trails. im looking at the new rivermaster 14' with poly. i just wanted to hear what other people that have a similar set up think about their boat.

I run a Bray hull and the boat turns well.

We have had it tuned to run on rails and then re-tuned it to be more free where it has a little slide.

Mine is the original not the new 8ft wide boat.

Marty Bray has the Swamphunter45 seal of approval for building a quality hull and being an honest vendor!

That's a real choice these days. I don't like the old rivermaster hull design with the deep bow or nose design, or the square nose mold to grab everything on either side. IMO only, Hartline kind of almost solved it but went to the way side also.
Tough days coming fast with glass hulls and mfg of what works or does not.

I’ve got a 15. Wide front cap w/ rod boxes, sbc w/ gear box. No tab, Majority of our running is on the coast fishing, great hull ,and you won’t deal with a better Man..

:rebel: Andy do you know about what a 13 1/2 or 14 foot hull would run or how much a foot. :rebel:

Back in January I was over to visit Mr Bray and the standard hull was selling for $225 a linear foot and the new wide hull was priced at $250 for a gel coat single color. To add side rod boxes was an additional $700 and on average a upgrade custom metal flake finish would add $300 or so to the end cost. His metal flake finish is beautiful, we did one in deep blue for us and in the sun 6 years later it still attracts admirers.

So a new 14ft wide hull with no upgrades would sell for $3,500 and the standard 14ft would cost $3,150 which really is a very fair price for a boat of this quality built with composite material that will not rot.

:rebel: DO any of you know what the stringer spacing is and what the width at the rear at rail is, I would like to use my seat stand, motor and cage if possible. I think mine is 36 inch stringers and I believe 84 or 85 width at rear for cage. :rebel:

I'm fairly certain he can build the stringers to fit your rigging.

I’m assuming you’re looking for the width where your cage will land, 87&1/2 @ the top inside
