Another lifetime airboater has passed on...

Found out that JC Stanley had a heart attack & passed away yesterday.

JC had been building aircraft engines in Central Florida for many years and was a wealth of knowledge...probably knew more about Continental engines than anyone. He built me an AV 170 for my first airboat 30 years ago.

Hard to believe..... I was over at his place just a few weeks ago getting parts.

He was going fishing..... And looked OK to me. Guess you never know.

Prayers go out to Ben and the Stanley family.....

JC changed air boating and made it possible for many....

Sad news he was a great guy I bought his 8 cyl panther years ago and had a few engines built he was always glad to help. R.I.P. JC

Wow I hate to hear that, for as long as I have been around Airboat I have all ways heard he was the man to go to if you wanted a Continental engine built, the Airboating community has truly lost a good man RIP

Sorry to here that J C left us he will be missed . He was a good man . Me and him used to do some heads up racing togeather sometimes I would win sometimes he would but we always shaked hands . going to miss him

Sad day fosho prayers sent. He'd been at it for a long long time. Never really knew him but knew of him and met him back in the 70's. Was very well thought of RIP JC
