Freedom Ride is the biggest gathering of airboat and airboaters In The World!!!

This one will be a "test run" at WRRR for Unity Weekend 2014, rumored to be set for July 11 - 13.

Folks, you can run your airboats to WRRR from the Florida Keys, West Palm Beach. North Carolina, Atlanta, Okee, Boca Grande, Naples or Everglades City or New Orleans.

They have AV-Gas on site and they have RecFuel on site. They got a saloon, a rodeo, a restaurant that even Danny Brantley can't eat down.

You can get there by helocopter, airplane, bicycle, motorhome, airboat, bay boat, SUV or pick-up truck.

All you gotta do is decide you are going on an adventureous road trip and the call Omaira Soto.

Folks, this is one year when it might pay dividends to launch at Shady Oaks Public Recreation Area rather than Camp Mack for Freedom Ride. There's a big bass tournament based at Camp Mack that same Saturday, so there will be LOTS of high speed boat traffic in C-37 and truck / trailer parking may be a mess. Shady Oaks Park offers plenty of room for launching ($5.00 per) and is almost directly across Hwy. 60 from westgate River Ranch Resort.
