What kind of rpms y'all turning just cruising along? Cool pics, I couldn't leave the wood burning stove in that stuff, surely no riding would get done! Lol

I'm running a 502 and cruising around on the snow at 3000 RPM, doing 20 mph or so.
Skip is running a 540 and I'm sure he's turning less as he burned less fuel than we did.
It definetly was NOT cold that day, mid 20's. The week before was -20* or so, thus we postponed the trip for a week.

Is anybody able to see the videos Skip posted above?

Folks when using Face Book links remember that nobody can see those link destinations unless they have a Face Book Account and are on your Face Book Friends List.

Or the posting person here has his FB account set for everyone, which is not a very smart thing to do.

FB can be a lot of fun but it is a terrible place to try to share things with EVERYONE.

If you don't want to store your photos here in SA, a good place to check out is https://www.flickr.com There are others, but this is a good one.

Personally, I recommend storing you airboat content pictures to be shared, right here on SA.

Best way I know of to get a video in a thread is to post it on YouTube, then embed it in a post. SA gallery can handle small videos, but it's no match for a site like YouTube.

Here's an old post with a little info. about videos: http://www.southernairboat.com/phpBB3/v ... 65#p482465

Skip, to see how to embed the video, hit edit on the above post and look at the only portion of the You Tube Address I put between the YOU TUBE Tags here on SA. Just hit the You Tube button when you are posting and the cursor is in the right place to paste in the portion like I did. :thumbleft:
