Maclaren river

Post by akmike30 »

Hey guys any of you been down river from the maclaren river lodge. Me and the wife are heading out next wed. To fill our caribou tags. I've always done the hunt with my four wheeler but now that I have the airboat I'm going to use it. Thanks Mike

Mike, whats the report on your hunt downriver. I have only gone upriver from there, and then it was to look for greyling. Bud

Hey Bud. It took me 3 trips to fill our tags. There river is easy first 10 miles. Pretty much like the upper river. Then you have pick your way thru rocks/ boulders. Rocks start out small and end watermelon size. I only hit one rock bad and it launch us pretty good.
I was really happy with my boat I had total of 355 pounds of bou in her.
Here are sum pictures. ImageImageImageImage
