You can thank one of your own..Ron Bergeron. He voted against it last year and did again this year with proven scientific facts right in his face. He doesn't care about anyone but himself. He needs to go.

That will be a gas guzzling no performing turd. There's no way I'd spend that kind of money for a gso boat setup like that...they don't hold their value. That should be about 20k. Find you a good cm boat and be done.jeepinocala1111 wrote:Why would you say that?Tony480 wrote:I'd run as fast as I could from that boat.

Re: AC to car engine what am I doing?
I haven't known or seen anyone who built a rank ass car motor boat ever want to go back to an ac...I know I'm not. Gas is cheaper, oil is cheaper and easier to find and it burns less fuel and twice the horsepower. It's not rocket science.

It has more to do with where you live and credit score and driving history then it does horsepower. I told them mine was 600 and insured it for 65k and it's 900 a year

It's not even comparable...don't even waste your time holding on to the 220..sell it and put the money in your new boat. That cm will stomp a mudhole in the 220s ass. And do not put it on a 7' wide hull...go with the 8'

If an engine has to run trouble free for "well over a half century" before its considers a "viable airboat power plant" in your opinion....I am glad you are not in charge of any kind of R&D or powertrain development of any sort. Most engines now a days have been torture test...

The weight is about the same.
Gear makes more noise in most cases.
Belts need to be replaced eventually.
