if it works .. but is touchy .. you need to change the pivot point so the throw is longer .. you can scale a model size design out of popsicle sticks to get it to your liking ..

Re: 2 airboats crash near Lake Washington
more and more boats .. with more and more power .. drivers with less and less stick time before they get the hotrod boats .. easily spells disaster. Whats the solution ?? obviously common sense .. but it isnt so common as some would think. Throw in a little alcohol and a sense of being free to drive...

Re: saber blade vs warp blade vs razor
hey guys there was no BS in my original post ... go back and read it ... ......... Razors and sabers are hollow .. warps are solid .. so warps might survive a light strike better .. maybe Razors and saber take more power per blade so you probably won't run 5 of them as for which is better .. my vote...

Re: How to check a wood props pitch
70 percent efficiency would be great on an airboat .. probably more like 40 to 50 .. tops .. efficiency is expressed as how far the prop moves forward with each revolution .. in the real world .. lots of things to affect it on an airboat configuration .. cage .. seats .. uncowled engine .. transom ....

Re: How to check a wood props pitch
maybe try this ... Pitch is the tangent of the blade angle times the diameter where you measure it times pi. Theoretically it doesn't matter where you measure it but normally you measure it at 80 percent of the overall dia of the prop yes I found this in a reference .. no I don't use it ... and mayb...
