Spin on filter adapter

In wanting to install a spin on oil filter adapter on my ndsv 360 lycoming without breaking the bank. I found the Donaldson air maze adapter for a good price and it says it fits all lycoming 360 engines. Would anyone know much about these and what filters to run with it?

Poly install ???

In the process of building a new boat. 12x7 aluminum hill with a 180 lycoming 10:1 a d I’m gonna go with 1/4” poly for it for the type of riding i do. I wanted to see what everyone prefers on how to install the poly. Either buck rivets or nut and bolt or self tappers? Looking for what’s the best way...

Spark plugs 0360

I’m rebuilding my ndsv 0360 and have 4 p10 steel cylinders and ct10:1 pistons in it. Gotta run break in oil and whatnot first and was wondering what spark plugs i should use for breaking in and running in general? The engine burned oil before and i used the plugs that came in it which were the ab-6 ...

Are you looking at the switch type murphy gauge? Murphy makes quality stuff for sure, but there are times I don't want my motor shutting off because of a safety switch.
I didn’t intend on having it set up to shut down the engine. Maybe set it up to an alarm if that’s possible

Building a strong 0360

Wanted some input on a build I’m wanting to do. My current set up I’m running is a stock straight valve narrow deck 180 lycoming on a 12x7 cottonmouth hull with slick bottom. My engine seems to be burning excessive oil, especially under a load. I can see the excessive smoke on the starboard side com...

0360 starter gear

Started my boat the other day and it made a bunch of racquet and there was something rattling while it was running so i shut it down to check it out. The snap ring that holds the gear onto the starter came off somehow and the gear was just walking around on the splined shaft, hitting the flywheel an...

Proper oil level 0360

I have an all stock 0360 180hp straight valve narrow deck and wanna know how much oil i should be running in it, the cap says 6qt, the boat has the big 6 row Hayden oil cooler on it too. 6 qt doesn’t fill it up on the stick but maybe 2/3 the way up.

All i know now is it’s an 0-320 it’s not an H model, has hex nuts holding the jugs on, oil fill on the side, 2 separate mags, not sure what kind of mounts they are considered. I don’t know the difference in the straight valve or angle valve, wide deck narrow deck, what model or hp rating it is
