I use my winch on the trailer, my dad made a cable about 12 ft long I want to say with a pulley in the middle and hooks at each end. The pully also has a hook and I hook it to the cross member under the bow of the boat and one hook goes on the bow eye, the last hook goes onto my winch so easy to get...

He helped me out with a prop, he spent most of the day with me and 2 or 3 different props and was great to deal with

get a good high torque starter, the factory starter kept breaking on mine because of the compression

Does anyone know what the difference is between Streamline, Diamond back and Hamant hulls? I know there all great but I'm looking to down size my hull and maybe try a Streamline anyone have a Streamline with an A/C motor on it? I'm looking at 13x7'6 and not sure if I even want poly on it

I have a 3 blade ngh and it is much smoother then a 2 blade and still has some good push

lol. well I was gonna stay out of this one but I built that motor. it is nothing of what he says. the motor is a small main wide deck straight valve that I rebuilt with a phase 3 cam and 9 to 1 pistons. the guy bought it from me I delivered it to Okeechobee and the guy was supposed to bring it back...

my dad knew him and thought highly of him he said Tom would stop by the camp for lunch or dinner sometimes. My dad told me how those guys would race out there to see just how fast that fwc boat was lol I think one had a cont.470

So after this month will we be allowed to ride out there?

at least you made it work and it lasted 9 years can't be bad

from what I read you can get a permit if you have been using the area since 1989 but how do you prove that? I have riding, fishing, and camping out there all my life. Our camp is still there but not used but I would'nt know how to prove that because my father passed away this year and any paper work...

An LS or any engine can blow up to if something goes wrong or is not built right, my freind has a rotory on his boat and has lasted 30 plus years which is great I think
