Re: Airboat or Surface drive?
Airboat is the way to go. You will want one with poly on bottom. Oh just so you know there are only 2 kinds of airboaters. The ones that have sunk one and those that just haven't yet lol

If you are using a Faria guage you have to use their sender. And understand Teleflex and Faria are 2 different companies. And both will tell you us their senders only.

My app is the FAA app. I will stick to it. Yuneec's are real hard on NFZ. And you can't even turn the motors on when in 5 miles of a A or B class FZ

I fly all over Kissimmee with my drone. Its not listed on the FAA app B4UFly. My drone won't let you take off in a no fly zone. And I know of 2 other drones that fly all over Kissimmee. The Avon Park jets have to stay above 500 feet. And we are only allowed to 400 feet

I run a Holley double pumper 750. I run a air to fuel gauge. Which let me rejet for the best performance for me. I run a little rich. But running lean isn't good. I run an 82" 3 blade R set past the 3 mark and turn 5400 at WOT. And my timing is set for 32 wot too.

Re: Airboat damaged in storm. Insurance ?
Deano, Here is a link to my tree. Mine happened a week before the storm. Happened sometime on Tuesday the 23rd. after midnight. Don't know why it fell. Looked healthy. It could have fallen in any direction and not hit anything. But as you see it didn't. The great thing about this is the support I go...

Re: Airboat damaged in storm. Insurance ?
Just had this happen. Tree fell on airboat and another small boat. Insurance only covers up to 1000.00 on boat. Lucky airboat wasn't damaged bad. So I didn't list that on claim. As other boat was almost to a 1000.00 to repair. There is an airboat under all that https://c1.staticflickr.com/9/8503/291...
