Got it to the shop, messed around with it a little bit and got it to crank. Put a prop on it and cage tied it down to the trailer it is on. Cranked it again let ...

Re: Cottonmouth SBC direct drive set up

I've got the same boat 350 dd with 3 blade excalibur. The prop is about 6 inches from transom, but I have a 6 inch prop adapter. I think it works better with rigging slid forward and fuel tank under motor. Mine is one seater in back, though. It does sit low in back I run a bilge pump in the splash pa...

I put in at the boy scout camp on the St. Mary's river today. Went up stream about four or five miles, the river was up nice. Come up to a hunting camp on the Georgia side about 1 mile from state road 121. I ran into a stranded cable that had been stretched across the river from the Georgia side to ...

Me and my neighbor used the boat to push my pickup in neutral from my house to the boat ramp, about 5 miles, just to see if it would. Got in sight of the ramp, FWC waiting on us. Talked with us for an hour, no tickets. :P

Re: Building my first airboat and need prop advice

I run a 350 sbc on a 13.5 fiberglass hull with a 66 inch super snapper ww 3 blade. Heavy boat, does good, but think 72 inch would do better. 72 three blade wouldnt work too well on your set up i think you prob have it about right where you are unless ur referring to a 72 two blade and i still dunno...
