How’s it going, this is my first post, I’m new to airboating and have a question about Aroeshell oils. I run an O360 on a 12’ 6” Ricochet. I’m changing my oil next week, can someone tell me the difference in W100 and W100 Plus? Also what would be best for my O360? Thank ya’ll for any input!

The Plus includes the Lycoming cam wear (preventative) additive. The additive is not as good as Cam Guard alone and you don't want to use both.

I'm in the middle of changing my oil. I use Phillips Victory, it has the same additive as the AeroShell Plus but cheaper. $94.80 a case from Gilbert's in Okeechobee.

Bayou,

Given you are new to all this, note that your engine has a suction side screen in the oil pan, I believe on front of your engine, maybe on stbd side. This uses a copper gasket you will want to replace. There is also a screen inside the cylindrical housing up high in the front, unless you have the spin on filter kit. This housing uses a gasket that needs to be replaced.

Thank you! I do have a WIX spin on filter, the copper gasket on the stud side I will have to look for, I wasn’t aware. Thank you!
