Ok some of us couldnt make it ,tied up ,broke , prior engagement ,or just plain forgot ,for what ever reason theres alot of us that didnt make it and i for one have heard to many diferent versions ,ive heard Bobby Ryder won /and lost/and was DQ,d ,I heard that the hurricane wasnt there and was there ?? .PLEASE someone who was there till the end and know who won what please chime in here and let the masses know right here in this thread .Thanks :cheers:
 
There is no more hurricane boat. Ryder won modified class but I was told he was dq because of illegal fuel. But that's just what was told. Bubba won modified and pro mod a/c. Ground rattler won race boat and unlimited. Swamp dragon won pro mod 4 cyl. I forgot who won modified 4 cyl.

Mr Bill won 4 cyl mod. The big block failed fuel test. Pete peterson got 8 cyl. mod and Top Fun was 2nd.

worst run race I have ever been invovled in....alot of people got SCREWED in alot of diff ways...NARA finally got it figured out and their last handful of races went GREAT.....now this new organization totally f'ed this one up worse than ANY that has EVER been run...they want be around long...jmho..
 
As a spectator I thought the races were great! Lots of fast boat racing all day long!!! Very well done putting the ride boat class last. Great job from this fans point of view.

I thought Bobby Ryder was setup for e85? Is that not allowed in modified?
 
Another way someone got shafted bronson. There testers weren't setup for e85. It tested as methanol which isn't allowed in that class. Yes e85 is pump gas.

Yes same class. Pete was running a aluminum small block on a step. But his.fuel tested fine.

E85 IS BASICALLY ALCHHOL AND IS NOT ALLOWED IN THAT CLASS. I GUESS YOU CAN TRY TO SPLIT HAIRS.

LOTS OF FUN BOATS TO WATCH RUN FOR SURE! FAAAST!!! IF YOU WERE CLOSE TO THE FINISHLINE YOU HAD NO WAY TO KNOW WHO WON THE RACE. THEY WERE NOT FLAGGING THEM AND YOU COULDNT HEAR THE ANNOUNCER. YOU COULDNT GET ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE FINISHLINE TO LINE UP WITH THE STAKES TO SEE FOR YOURSELF WHO WON SO IF IT WAS CLOSE YOU HAVE TO TAKE THE WORD OF THE DISGRUNTLED RACE OFFICIAL WHO WOULD JUST SHOOT YOU DIRTY LOOKS WHEN YOU ASKED WHO WON THE RACE. JUST MORE SKETCHY STUFF TO WONDER WETHER YOU WERE VICTIM OF FAVORITISM. IF THERE ISNT A WAY TO ELIMINATE THE DOUBT OF FAVORITISM ALOT OF RACERS WONT BE BACK. IVE GIVEN THEM THE BENIFIT OF THE DOUBT BUT IT IS BECOMING OBVIOUS TO ME AND ALOT OF OTHERS THAT THESE RACES ARE PARTIAL TO CERTAIN PEOPLE. NOT TO TAKE ANYTHING FROM ANY OF THE OTHERS VERY FAST BOATS BUT ALOT OF THESE BOATS ARE CLOSE ENOUGH THAT YOU DONT NEED ANYTHING WORKING AGAINST YOU OR IN ANYONE ELSES FAVOR. THERE ARE WAYS TO RUN THIS TO ELIMINATE THE QUESTION OF FAVORITISM. HATE TO SOUND LIKE A WHINER AND WE DIDNT GET SCREWED IN ANY WAY AT THIS RACE THAT I KNOW OF BUT HAVE GOT SCREWED AT 2 OTHERS WITHOUT A DOUBT, AND KEEP TRYING TO SUPPORT THIS ORGANIZATION. DONT KNOW IF I CAN DO IT ANYMORE WITHOUT SOME CHANGES.
