Interesting quirky article on Panther Conflicting with Gladesmen and Others

Thanks for caring about history - not many seem to here.

Good Read . . . Thanks for posting.

Sadly, this is documentation of another example that shows how the more time and money
the government spends to "address" some bleeding heart cause, the more irreparable
the damage becomes and unlikely that a common sense solution is even possible. :banghead:

Keep the Faith Deano. That article is one of few presenting the panther as possibly not the best thing to have close by plus they are dangerous to be around especially if hungry..

As far as the article mentioning Denninger not having any options where the culture and the Corp are concerned that isn't necessarily true - in fact the reporter became a bit confused in this part of the story or suffered from notes that were too brief..

In reality the sites declared eligible by the study were as Traditional Cultural Properties TCP) the most coveted designation in existence not some very low level priority designatio0n.. As reported 2 were said to be eligible (but wasn't reported is that a few more were re-specified as eligible after the study by Florida's State Historic Preservation Office according to Grady Caulk with the USACE who ran the Gladesmen Study for the Corp) * BTW I made mistake on what is in parentheses - Upon speaking with Mr Caulk yesterday he made me aware that there were no others declared TCP eligible and due to the fact very few study interviewees mentioned certain places that is part of why they weren't listed as eligible by the study.

In fact there are always options unless the statute of limitations expire. LOL

According to FWCs panthernet website, 21 panthers have been killed already this year and that's just the ones they found. and 27 born this year that they know of. Obviously theres a lot more panther/cougars out there than they would like you to believe.

There is way too many down there. They wipe out too much game. They kill something to eat. Eat enough to make themselves full and leave the rest to rott. Then do it again in a couple days or less.
