    The tank itself has a vent on it and the gas cap is vented also. The filter was also just replaced during the engine swap and is just an inline 30 micron filter. The fuel hoses were changed last year and are 3/8 carbureted hoses.

    Not really sure how to actually measure the backlash but when the gearbox was off I spun it it by and and was very smooth and free, didn't feel like it had any slop before starting to turn. There's maybe around 500hrs on gearbox and oil always come out clean. You are right about the differences...

    I completely built and asembled the engine myself with all forged internals and block bored .040 over so technically 385ci. Had rotating assembly internally balanced. Literally everything on this build is brand new including the neutral balanced flexplate.

    Worked on it more tonight. 1st I unbolted the flextplate from the gearbox and reclocked it different. Put all 6 soft drive bushings in slightly loose then started torquing.
