blueprint engine airboat

ive seen the bars on the border patrol boats for the wire the smugglers put cross the river ,but whats the purpose ona ride boat ?? just curious ?

During duck season the river can run deep, so the hunters will use a john boat to cross and pull them selves with the cable. the other thing we have is fences. In some places on the platte and the loup we run cattle and will fence accross the channel.
