Dad built this boat after hours when he was running Panther. He took a 12' hull and put a 13' running bottom in it, sloped the transom and pulled the bow up. It was the first panther with these additions. The rigging was out of tear dropped shaped chromeoly to cut on wind resistance because they ran a 1/4 mile back then. The stringers were offset to compensate for the torque of a belt drive and it went many, many years without being beaten!

I remember that boat very well, Bo harris used to race it, I think its still around here somewhere in cocoa.

Yeah, Dad built it and raced it in 85'. First CM boat to outrun AC at the track and went many years without being beat. He had a lot of his AC buddies mad at him over that one...
