Me and my redheaded son and his buddy Nick at the microwave tower in 3s today after Parker pulled the entire engine apart, deleted the twin turbos and replaced the head gaskets all by himself at 16. Ran like a top--damn proud of him...Charles

Too much trouble for the results. Ran 20 degrees hotter, detonation prone--didnt need them. A fun experiment though.

Charles, I understand that kind of pride and there's nothing else on earth that replaces it. I often think back to when my father was teaching me to build engines ..... what made them run and why. Your son will move on someday to a career in another field that probably won't even be related, but when his wife's car is making one of those 'clunk-thump' sounds one day, he'll understand what she's talking about and he'll think of you. That's priceless.
