This is one of the first ever airboats made for the US ARMY. Had a model t engine with a belt drive. Note the almost complete lack of a cage. the trailer has a license tag that says "us army" Boat is made of plywood. I have this original picture framed in my office and bought it off of ebay many years ago. Note the dual exhausts which makes me think the caption about a model t engine may not be correct.
