What gear ratio are you running on your caddi, I'm helping a friend build a new rig with a 500 caddi. We were told a 1.7:1 is what we needed but couldn't he run a 2:1? I don't know but we would appriciate any info you could lend. We will be putting it on a 15 x 7 Alumitech hull and use a 78" 4 blade P/S prop.
